Welcome to the Bujinkan Dojo Nottingham
The Bujinkan Dojo Nottingham was founded in 2003 by Shihan Ilja Hoffmann (15.Dan) as a part of the
Martial Art School Nottingham. The martial
arts practised by us are known under the name Budo Taijutsu and incorporate the teachings
of nine different Ninja (Ninjutsu) and Samurai (Ju-Jutsu) schools, which can be found
listed below.

Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu composes of armed and unarmed fighting methods, which are
practised in their traditional form as well as in modern self-defence applications.
During your training, you will be taught how to roll, punch, kick and throw correctly,
how to fight on the ground as well as how to apply pressure points, wrist locks, arm
bars and other techniques. Further, you will be shown how to handle traditional Japanese
weapons such as Swords (Tachi, Katana, Wakazashi), Staffs (Bo, Jo, Hanbo), Nawa (Rope),
Naginata (Glaive), Shuriken (Throwing Stars) and more.
Classes: Wednesdays from 7pm till 8.30pm (min. Age 16)
